HBCU alumni Tamia Casey, Armonii Lovejoy, and Makenzie Smith excel as NFL cheerleaders. Casey, a Lincoln University graduate, is in her sixth season with the Philadelphia Eagles, having transitioned from HBCU cheerleading to the NFL. Lovejoy, an Alabama State University graduate, is in her third season with the Atlanta Falcons, while also working as a veterinary assistant and aspiring to be a physical therapist. Smith, a Howard University graduate, is also a third-year veteran with the Falcons, advocating for arts access in underserved communities and HBCUs.
