Butler suggests strategies such as clear process breakdowns, tracking progress, and hosting transparency events to reduce student stress. She also addresses common barriers such as the belief that college isn’t for everyone or is unaffordable. She advocates for exposure through campus visits, dual-enrollment programs, and guest speakers. Collaboration, not isolation, is key in supporting underresourced students.
