Digital SAT Launches Across the Country, Completing the Transition to Digital and Providing a Simpler Testing Experience for Students and Educators

College Board launched digital SAT in the U.S., completing transition to digital testing. Over 200,000 students took the test at 3,000 centers in 173 countries. Digital SAT offers shorter test, more time per question, and streamlined experience. Since March 2023, over 300,000 digital SAT tests administered internationally. Majority of students and staff reported better experience with digital SAT. Key improvements include shorter test, calculators allowed on Math section, unique test version for each student, and shorter test day. Bluebook app used for digital SAT, includes built-in tools and resources. SAT continues to play vital role in holistic admissions process.
