OPINION: Colleges have to do a better job helping students navigate what comes next

Higher education institutions should demonstrate course-to-career linkages, improve these connections, and consider return on investment for students. Suggestions include spelling out connections for students, raising awareness of realistic careers, making coursework-career connections a priority, and helping students translate coursework for the job market.
