‘Running Out of Road’ for FAFSA Completion


FAFSA completion rates have significantly dropped, with only 33.7% of high school seniors completing it, a 28.8% decrease from last year. This could lead to a 4% drop in college enrollment, primarily affecting low-income and first-generation students. The decline is attributed to issues with the new FAFSA form and Department of Education errors.
