Delaware arts college to shutter, citing falling enrollment and FAFSA challenges

Delaware College of Art and Design (DCAD) to cease operations due to falling enrollment, rising costs, and federal aid issues. Pennsylvania College of Art and Design and Moore College of Art and Design will accept current and incoming students. DCAD, on probation by Middle States Commission on Higher Education, couldn’t prove financial stability. DCAD’s deficit was $1.3 million last fiscal year, with $2.5 million long-term debt.
